A card game to honour our heroes on the frontline
2020 has admittedly been a difficult year for most - those who have been stuck at home, cut off from their families and friends, for those working remotely, for those who might have struggled with their mental health - but especially for those who battled at the frontlines of the pandemic.
To honour our heroes of the year, I Belanja You Lah aims to raise funds to provide for their needs through a partnership with local charity organisations and NGOs in Malaysia.
KitaFund
In order to support health facilities and frontliners in badly affected areas, our proceeds will go to providing medical supplies and equipments across the country.
NGOHub
The proceeds from the game will also provide emergency funding to NGOs who serve our most vulnerable communities such as the homeless, elderly, orphans, disabled persons and refugees.
"I Belanja You Lah" is a Malaysian slang that is commonly used when someone is settling bills for you. 'Belanja' is a Malay word that is synonymous with ‘I got you covered’. Through this sentence and our illustrations, we hope to inspire people to lend a helping hand to those in need.
I Belanja You Lah is based on a traditional Mexican board game called 'Loteria', the rules of the game is similar to that of 'Bingo', easy to play and fun in groups.
